Having had a passion for health and wellbeing since a young age, Salvo qualified in Physiotherapy in 2010 with a Batchelor of Science degree (BSc) from the ‘Università degli studi’ in Messina (Italy).

Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings which has fuelled his passion for Musculo-skeletal physiotherapy and he now works for Sano Physiotherapy Ltd delivering First Contact Practitioner (FCP) services across the South and Central Knowsley Primary Care Network.

Salvo enjoys continuously learning about the human body and coupled with his passion for wellbeing, he is ideally placed to help patients across the PCN with any physical complaints.

Digital Health Advisor

Josh works alongside Nutgrove Villa Surgery for a company called My mHealth and is one of our practice Digital Health Advisers.

My mHealth is a clinically led software company that develops and deploys Apps which help patients and clinicians to manage long-term conditions better. Since our launch we have worked collaboratively with 100s of CCGs, NHS Acute Trusts, GP practices and community providers to digitally transform the way they provide care and interact with individuals with long-term conditions.
 
Since the start of Josh’s role in September 2020, There have been over 1800 patients registered for the my mhealth Apps across Knowsley, which is expected to grow substantially with support from Nutgrove Villa Surgery.
